Latest CSN Articles

From this point on, the Community Sport Network team will no longer be sending out articles.

It was established in August 2013 as a free to access news-line on all things happening in Community Sport. It was set up as a small contribution to the legacy of London 2012 which inspired us all and will live long in our memories.

Nearly five years down the track there are now a number of other respected sporting news offerings online, so we thank you for your readership and support which has extended to over 200 countries, and wish you all well in your ongoing efforts to help create a fitter, healthier sporting nation.

Thanks for being a part of it!

BBC Presenters – This Girl Can Too

0 0

You may be more used to watching them sweating it out in the confines of a television or radio studio but now some of the BBC's best-known female presenters are getting up and active to inspire and encourage women around the world to do the same.

This tribute film was created to support the message that we as a society need to acknowledge and break down the emotional barriers that stop a lot of British females from getting active.

Gabby Logan, Suzi Perry, Jo Whiley, Helen Skelton and Louise Minchin are just a few of the 21 familiar faces featured in a recent This Girl Can campaign and are all setting a great example of getting active.

From Kirsty Wark on a chest press machine and Suzi Perry kickboxing, to Arlene Phillips in a spin class and Anna Foster braving it in her swimming costume - they're all getting active...

What are you doing?
