Latest CSN Articles

From this point on, the Community Sport Network team will no longer be sending out articles.

It was established in August 2013 as a free to access news-line on all things happening in Community Sport. It was set up as a small contribution to the legacy of London 2012 which inspired us all and will live long in our memories.

Nearly five years down the track there are now a number of other respected sporting news offerings online, so we thank you for your readership and support which has extended to over 200 countries, and wish you all well in your ongoing efforts to help create a fitter, healthier sporting nation.

Thanks for being a part of it!

((BOUNCE)) appoints Promote PR!

((BOUNCE))™, one of the UK’s fastest growing fitness franchises, has appointed Promote PR to manage the brand’s consumer and trade public relations.

With over 20,000 participants every month at over 100 studios across the UK, ((BOUNCE)) is transforming grassroots fitness with its fun, friendly and fierce workout. Following the brand’s rapid UK growth, studios will open this year in Australia, Europe and the USA.

Commenting on the appointment of Promote PR, Kimberlee Perry, founder and CEO of ((BOUNCE)) said: "Promote were such an obvious choice for us with their vast experience in the fitness sector, coupled with their passion to get more people, more active, more often. We were blown away by their sector knowledge, media contacts and extensive connections across the entire fitness sector.”

The ((BOUNCE)) training programme boasts an average start up time of just four weeks from training to running a business teaching classes. Instructors learn a variety of class styles for the same price including: BLAST – with weights, BALANCE – yoga based, BOOTCAMP – full body circuits and BOX – boxfit sessions.

The unique ((BOUNCE)) business model makes set up simple for franchises. Regional Managers support with business administration and everything is centrally managed including website, social media, booking system, marketing and PR, customer payments and financial reporting. Franchises simply book their own space and teach the choreography which is provided free each month from ((BOUNCE)).

Sue Anstiss, Promote’s Managing Director, said: "We absolutely love the energy of the ((BOUNCE)) classes – they’re unlike any rebounding workouts we’ve seen before in the UK or Europe. Kimberlee has established a business that’s already hugely successful and we’re excited to help her and her team move things to the next level – attracting more franchisees and establishing the brand with media and influencers.
