Latest CSN Articles

From this point on, the Community Sport Network team will no longer be sending out articles.

It was established in August 2013 as a free to access news-line on all things happening in Community Sport. It was set up as a small contribution to the legacy of London 2012 which inspired us all and will live long in our memories.

Nearly five years down the track there are now a number of other respected sporting news offerings online, so we thank you for your readership and support which has extended to over 200 countries, and wish you all well in your ongoing efforts to help create a fitter, healthier sporting nation.

Thanks for being a part of it!

Dermot's Day of Dance for Comic Relief

0 0
Popular TV presenter Dermot O’Leary will be showcasing his best moves in an extraordinary event that will test his physical limits, as he dances non-stop for a staggering 24 hours.

Dermot is challenging himself to raise much needed funds for Comic Relief.
Comic Relief work tirelessly all year round to create real lasting change to the lives of individuals, communities and the issues they strive to tackle. Supporting both causes in the UK and internationally the Comic Relief appeal ‘Red Nose Day’ is to take place on Friday the 13th of March 2015.
‘Dermot’s Day of Dance for Comic Relief’ will start on The One Show on BBC One on Thursday 12th March.

After the launch Dermot will boogie his way through the night and all of the next day, with BBC Radio 2 following his every step.
Dermot’s big finale will see his dancing draw to an exciting close live on the Red Nose Day Night of TV. He’s sure to have audience members and viewers up on their feet dancing as they help him to celebrate the life-changing money he’s raised for Red Nose Day.

But why not join in the action and get up and dance to get active. With zumba and dance classes getting the country up and active why not give it a try?
Whether it is at your local leisure centre or even from your own home, dancing is a fun way to get fit and contribute to a healthy active lifestyle
