Latest CSN Articles

From this point on, the Community Sport Network team will no longer be sending out articles.

It was established in August 2013 as a free to access news-line on all things happening in Community Sport. It was set up as a small contribution to the legacy of London 2012 which inspired us all and will live long in our memories.

Nearly five years down the track there are now a number of other respected sporting news offerings online, so we thank you for your readership and support which has extended to over 200 countries, and wish you all well in your ongoing efforts to help create a fitter, healthier sporting nation.

Thanks for being a part of it!

Shake Up September gets office based workers moving!

0 0

Shake Up September inspired thousands to get active and do something different. A national activity challenge designed to encourage workers from across the country to add activity into their working day has been deemed a success in inspiring people to try something different. More than 3,500 workers took part in the challenge, with the most unique activities being logged by an individual during the month.  Desk based jobs and the growth in technology has caused a dramatic growth in sedentary lifestyles and is creating a negative impact on our health. Initiatives like Workplace Challenge are offering employers the opportunity to provide their employees with an active option as studies have shown that an active workforce is a healthy and more productive workforce.
